Tool & Die Manufacturing
At DLH, we specialize in tool and die making and mold design. We are a full service tooling manufacturer involved from start to finish. We have a complete tool shop with up to date CNC equipment. We design and build molds and extrusion tooling using in-line, automatic, and stand alone fabrication equipment such as Sinker EDMs, multi axis CNCs, welders, saws, grinders, and milling machines. Our materials meet industry standards for tool steel and we can provide traceability from cradle to grave. Our highly trained tool, die & mold makers will make sure your specifications are met and provide engineering support. Ongoing preventive maintenance and enhancements are historically tracked.
Plastic Injection Molding
Our advanced plastic injection molding facilities provide custom parts to customers worldwide. We specialize in tight tolerances and defect free molded parts. Our highly trained technical workforce uses state-of-the-art electric injection molding machines. Our press capabilities include machines ranging from 50 to 165 tons and shot sizes ranging from 2 to 8 ounces. Our fully automated molding machines are process monitored 24 hours a day. Our engineers use the latest CAD/CAM technology to design components that best suit our customers' applications. Prototypes are available upon request.
Plastic Extrusion
Our highly skilled technicians perform custom plastic extrusion of tubing and custom profiles in almost all commercially available thermoplastics including, but not limited to TPE, TPV, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, flexible and rigid PVC, ABS, Styrene and Nylon. We specialize in high quality, consistent parts with the ability to hold exacting tolerances. We use a variety of automated equipment including flywheel cutters, traveling saws, custom printing, and in-line secondary operations. All parts can be cut to length or coiled. Secondary operations like thermoforming, punching, printing, notching, drilling, and assembly can be performed in-line, beside the line, or off-line. Our advanced forming division can handle your single or multi-plane bend forming to produce a finished product at a competitive price. We provide prototypes quickly upon request.
Plastic Assembly & Plastic Tube Forming
Plastic tubes and parts often need assembly and forming to meet customer needs. We will not only produce the components for your product, but we can also assemble components to your exact specifications. We assemble all major plastic materials and have lot traceability through our use of bar coded inventory control. We have extensive capabilities for the manufacturing of air suspension assemblies, windshield washer assemblies, coolant manifolds, and other air and fluid handling systems. We offer sonic and solvent welding, tube forming, and more. Our proprietary assembly and forming equipment and fixtures are internally designed and custom manufactured using industry best practices. Our assembly and forming processes provide consistent reliability at an affordable price. Prototype samples are available upon request.
